What people use it for
- Form testing Fill a checkout or a signup form with data that looks real.
- Databases Ship sample rows that respect the field lengths of each country.
- Mockups Screenshots and demos without putting a real street on screen.
What it generates
For the United States: house number, street with the standard suffixes (Street, Avenue, Boulevard, Drive, Lane, Court, Place, Road), city, two letter state code and a zip in the right range for that state. For the United Kingdom: house number, street, town, postcode area and a valid postcode shape.
Every piece is invented and assembled from common patterns, so the addresses look like the real thing without belonging to anybody. Nothing is looked up: the generator works offline inside the page.
