What Morse code is
Morse code writes each letter as a short signal (dot) and a long one (dash). Letters run from one to four signals, numbers are always five. The timing matters as much as the pattern: a dot is one unit, a dash is three, the gap between signals inside a letter is one unit, between letters three and between words seven.
The tool shows the text as dots and dashes, prints the timing in units so you can play it on anything, and can sound the whole message in your browser with the standard 20 words per minute spacing.
